Enjoy High-quality International Education Resources
Beijing University of Technology is actively advancing its open education strategy, to cultivate a new generation of high-quality innovative talents with international competitiveness and a global perspective. It has established a high-quality international talent cultivation project system that is "layered and categorized, and seven-in-one", including cooperative education, overseas training programs, joint training, undergraduate-to-graduate programs, long-term exchanges, short-term exchanges, and international volunteer programs. At the same time, in line with the disciplines characteristics and talent cultivation objectives, it provides "professionally customized" short-term exchange programs, making full use of the high-quality resources of world-class universities to provide comprehensive support for the internationalization of on-campus students' education.

At present, our university has formally established cooperative partner relations with 200+ overseas universities and institutions across 39 countries and regions.More than 70 study abroad programs of different levels and different forms have been established, including student exchange programs, double degree programs,bachelor-master connection programs, BMEC funded study abroad programs，summer and winter short-term programs, joint training programs, and etc. These programs leverage world-class international educational resources to provide comprehensive support for cultivating globally competent talents.
In 2024, Beijing University of Technology (BJUT) facilitated overseas study opportunities for 676 students through its diverse range of long-term and short-term international programs. Among them, 92 undergraduates completed semester-long or year-long exchange programs at partner universities abroad; 362 students engaged in overseas short-term programs through summer and winter programs, international volunteer programs, international competitions, culture and sports activities and etc. Our international programs have demonstrated consistent improvement in both quality and scale. Notably, the 2024 overseas graduate enrollment rate for bachelor's degree recipients achieved a historic high of 29.74%.
